"...and the sea shall grant each man new hope, as sleep brings dreams of home-Christopher Columbus." --Soviet submarine Captain Marko Ramius, played by Sean Connery in The Hunt for Red October (the line was actually never said by Columbus :()

I gave this an ambiguous title because the drawing is pretty open to interpretation. The setting could be almost anywhere with land or islands in the background. It could be a ship discovering islands in the Caribbean, or could it be a military ship patrolling off the coast of the homeland or far away settlements. Or is it a pirate ship, emerging from it's secluded hideout? Perhaps it's in pursuit of a foreign adversary. he choice is yours.

THis is neat. I'm particularly interested in what mediums were used. I believe most of it was done with pencil, but it seems you used a bit of markers and pens, as well. What did you use? I would love to know.

Thank you! Yes I used pencil, charcoal pencil, and pen. I like outlining my stuff in pen-makes it sorta pop-if I'm not going to color it at least. But pen still looks great when I do color things.
